These wall pieces are based on a technique by Susan Carlson. I had so much fun making the first two that one summer, while in Hawaii, I asked each nephew to pick a fish pattern and then choose fabric with which to design his fish. And they each had to name their fish. In 2009 I decided to mount their fish on stretcher bars and hang them in the house in Hawaii.
