The technique in this quilt is called Watercolor. It is made up of 2” squares placed on a background and sewn together in strips. 

Above is the final production of a quilt that I never liked. I cut up the original quilt into 2” squares and created a different piece. I decided to put a fusible web on the lower section, scatter fish, yarn, thread and cover it with tulle.
